I suppose I was misled by the english wikipedia article
I wondered about Count Lennart Bernadotte.
Born from an equal marriage, he lost his royal titles due to his morganatic marriage in 1932 to Karin Nissvandt, and became plain Mr.Bernadotte.
I don't think that it could be described as a morganatic marriage. To the best of my knowledge, a morganatic marriage is when e.g. a Prince marries someone with a lower rank, and the Prince keeps his titles and successional right, but his wife and children from that marriages will not share his titles. One example is the Austrian heir to the Imperial throne, Franz Ferdinand. His marriage was a morganatic one. He kept his position as Crown Prince, and he would have been Emperor in 1916, had he not been murdered in 1914, but his spouse would not have become Empress and their children would not have been able to inherite the throne. Lennart lost his titles and successional rights, and thus it was not a morganatic marriage.
