We did outplay them for the majority of the game. Then a suckerpunch from their last corner. 2 points lost in my opinion.

I think he thought there was a chance that he wouldn't get there first. At 6'7" he would've wiped everything out. All good if he gets the ball but a 100% penalty if he doesn't. There was a chance that their player could've flicked it over the bar. He would've been slated even more if that happened and he'd given away a penalty.

Then he should stay on his line and maintain a better position to save the header than the one his indecision leaves him in.

He's 6ft7 and can use his hands, if he fully commits, there's a good chance he gets there and punches the ball away.

His hesitation to do either is the reason he's absolutely nowhere when the header comes in.

When you can use your hands and you're significantly taller than the player you're going up against, it's far from 50/50, but if that's what he thought then he should have stayed on his line.

If you read my first comment on the subject I was explaining my thoughts on why Addai changed his mind about coming out to deal with the cross. Without being in his boots it's difficult to decide what he should or shouldn't have done.

Please take into account I've seen the incident once, in real time, from one angle. Hence why I was hoping that other people would offer up an opinion rather than our going back and forth that I would describe as a discussion rather than arguing.

Do we all understand that a good team, behind at half-time, will come out with something to prove and put us under pressure?

How we deal with that will have some bearing on how the game pans out.
