If you read my first comment on the subject I was explaining my thoughts on why Addai changed his mind about coming out to deal with the cross. Without being in his boots it's difficult to decide what he should or shouldn't have done.

Please take into account I've seen the incident once, in real time, from one angle. Hence why I was hoping that other people would offer up an opinion rather than our going back and forth that I would describe as a discussion rather than arguing.
