    I wonder how many past and present Offerton Green players post on here.

    I played for Offerton Green in the 1970’s and early 1980’s.

    Won the old division four of the Stockport Sunday league with Offerton Green reserves and runners up in division two with the first team

    Main rivals then were Cheadle FC and Wembley. Always very tasty affairs when we played them. I stil see some of the Offerton green players I played with at County games

    Played at St Thomas Rec ground and I do remember a period when before a game we had to erect the goal posts on that ground and take them down afterwards

    Happy days especially when playing with a hangover from the night before.
