This rubbish was in County’s Matchday Magazine v Nothampton in 2011.
There is no mention of ‘The Cobblers’ anywhere in the article so fans perhaps expecting a bit of an insight into the game from reading this nonsense were left (not for the first time) confused.
Editor Phil Brennan would berate myself as go-between as Cartier was hardly ever available for his much deserved ‘carpetings’.
Phil would see me as being responsible for the kind of drivel Cartier used to off load to me on the back of fag packets/beer mats.
Poor mr Brennon would have to decipher the spidery scrawlings before adding photos and publishing.
I asked why Cartier was allowed to infiltrate his award winning magazine with this very poor journalism…but he apparently had no choice and would become annoyed to the verge of violence when pushed for an answer.
For my own safety I thought certain things had to be left unsaid.
