Thank you for drawing that to my attention however, there’s 3 of their players off-side and 3 of ours playing the goal scorer on.
For me, our 3, including Wootton, have done their job and moved forward leaving their men off-side. If anyones at fault it’s whoever’s marking the goal scorer!
Wootton seams to be taking the blame (unfairly) from certain quarters.
As for him not scoring himself, for large parts of the game he was the lone striker playing against 3 defenders, a near impossible task.
