Wootton is very good at what he's asked to do in the system we play; he's there to battle with defenders like he does (and like other strikers do with our defenders). Your issue should be with the system we play rather than Wootton's execution of it.

On Wheatley, I'm not sure a total of 13 minutes of Premier League football across 3 appearances is a barometer of anything. It's certainly not enough for anyone to start making wild predictions about him being better than Wootton is.
