If you think Wootton has been one of our best players then I'd book an appointment if I were you.

Don't get me wrong, he puts effort in, but the number of times he effectively gives the ball back to the opposition is crazy.

If the stats say otherwise I'll hold my hand up but IMHO he puts himself about, grabs shirts etc and the refs are clearly on to him. To be fair the horse does the same at the back quite frequently.

BTW if this lad is coming in having already played for Man U albeit as a sub in the Premier League, then I'm not sure why he can't or shouldn't be considered as a better more mobile option.
