A quarter of the season gone, and it’s all going
pear shaped. Gawd, we are certainly missing Collar, Sarcevic, Madden and Hippolyte this season.

Thankfully we had three early season wins and points on the board before the wheels started to fall off. Yes we’ve had injuries, but so have other teams. First bad call yesterday was to not start with Horsfall. Nothing against Sam Hughes who has now played two games and certainly has not let himself down but the team has been built around Horsfall.

Second bad call was to haul Addai off at half time. Yes he made a mistake, but he’s not the first keeper to ever do that. It’s the first time I’ve seen a keeper substituted at half time. Third bad call yesterday was to bring Lewis Bate our club captain off at half time. This season he has been one of the better players.

So with a tough game coming up it’s time for a control, alt, delete for the team and fingers crossed that it works.

I’m guessing that DC is going to have to stick with Hinchliffe in goals.

I’d go with a solid back four consisting of a proper right back (if any are fit), Horsfall, Hughes, Pye
(ditch this fluid three fluid four stuff it isn't working)

A midfield five consisting of Diamond Bate Norwood Fiorini Barry
