Million dollar home had 3 big bedrooms upstairs and hall to clean, This was a builders grade berber white in color and trashed, Olefin fiber...
I used the Brush head with the Glides on the unit, Mixed up a heavy pre spray and hit it pretty good, Hooked up the RV and gave it a try.
Had tons of bells going off in my head about using this tool, Tons of pulls in the carpet and this was my first attempt with the machine.
Honestly it knocked it out of the park, Looked great, Using no Airpath because I was to lazy to drag it upstairs, I was using a truck mount keep in mind. Dry times I'm guessing would be around 2 to 3 hours.
I keep going back and checking where I cleaned pretty dry when I finished the stairs, It cleans pretty dang close to the walls as well, The Vacuum left some dust along the wall the RV got it with no problem. That caught my attention.
Overall all first try using this I was happy, Still way to early to give final thoughts.
Now the ugly, I put a in line filter on because it needs one, You have to adjust your speed control on this unit, Number 5 seems to pick up better than a fast or slower setting.
Using the unit to slow gave the tiger stripe effect gary mentioned with leaving to much water, or it seemed from my view but running in the middle did pretty good.
I also have a ball valve on the flow side of things, I ran mine 1/2 closed just seemed like a lot of water being used wide open.
The machine was real jerky from the start, But after adjusting the unit to fit me better it seem to handle nicer and I got better as the job went on, Little learning curb, But it will work out.
I hate the way the vac line attaches to the machine, If you need to take the hose off to get anything it's a small pain, May get better with practice.
Keep in mind this was an olefin carpet so dry times should have been good doing anything, Way to early to give final thoughts, So far I think it has a chance very light weight, Cleaned great and going into tight areas was easy.
Tomorrow I go after a nasty I will used it on three different house's hopefully three different types of carpet, I'll try and take some pics and start a new thread.
