I was greatly disappointed at the fact that it came without an online filter and jets kept clogging. That's unacceptable in the engineering department. My rotary union went out within a year. But what I later found out was that I was leaving tiger stripes with my brush head. Love that brush head for nasties but I grew a consience and started groom wanding at the end after a complaint the swirls wouldn't go away. What ended our use was after a couple of off white carpets showed the "tiger stripes" some talked of and we ended up re cleaning with the wand. The brush head really kicks butt on nasties but never realized it was leaving the stripes until we did the lighter carpets.
The Dry times really bugged me but I airpath. It resides with all the other things I've purchased that don't live up to my standards. The RX is still my go to rotary.
One of the reasons I no longer read the boards is the fact that I bought a zipper based on popular opinion then the RV. For me it's been a giant waste of money and a fookin butt dance trying to get them both operational the way others claim them to be. I have a certain wand that beats everything else so I stick with it. Both techs want anything to do with those 2 tools. The new guy rolls with his own wand he prefers.
I'd like to know what genius invented the wand.
Trust me, we tried to make the RV work. The online filter solved the clogging issue, we increased the jet size, ran it slower, faster, tool off the restrictive see thru hose adapter and ran the 2" to the head.
A friend who used it the time said he never groomed after. So I tried. The 1st complaint scared the crap out of me. We had to precondition it to get it wet, run a crb over it to get the stubborn swirls out. That should have been my sign. Then the tiger stripes, damn it! Recleaned, should have been my sign but no, we started grooming wirh the wand after and seen it.
For me it's in my POS corner in the garage.
I want to love it for the $ I spent and not be the fool but I cant.
