My first post on this subject on this forum, which Larry transferred to Facebook, listed my efforts to get Burns Documentary done right with with due respect to Jim's legacy especially, while the documentary was in its concept stages, and was in it's infancy.

This was done to no avail, even though I thought to have made important contacts involved in the project like local political friends of Burns, and living near the barely accredited crazy liberal Hampshire College where Burns got his "education", and now almost single handedly financially supports. Closing now with about 10 students. The school is a failure.

It got quite a response on this forum and can be found going back here.

Lately, my efforts to get the the Recognition Jim deserves has been focusing on getting mainstream media to include snippets of Jim's music on their broadcasts. They open and close segments with musical snippets. Jim is never one of the offerings.

President Trump is reportedly heavy into various types of music, including installation of quality sound systems in the oval office, White House renovations, Mar a Largo, and I'm sure the new Ball Room and other locations.

Jim's world wide appeal would be valuable when dealing with dignitaries of foreign countries that love Jim's music in the back ground during discussions. His daughter in law Laura, is on main stream media and I have sent her Emails suggesting the President be introduced to Jim Reeves music. I have also done so with some of the "Talking Heads" on various networks, who have relationships with the President and his administration to do the same.

I could go further but suffice to say I try to plant the flag where ever I go. The fall of modern country music and condition of the world, Jim's calming voice and sound are needed now more than ever.

If anyone has suggestions as how to get Jim's music out there let me know.

Am not on social media, and do not have a smart phone, so my avenues are limited.
