I think the Civil War documentary was one of Burn's first if not his first. I agree it was excellent.

I don't know enough about Baseball to comment about the documentary's accuracy, but I trust your brother's assessment is spot on.

I think Burns got lazy the more notoriety he received, pretending to be an expert on everything while relying on others for content (Marty Stewart in this case).

In any event the Country Music Documentary is a travesty in my opinion.
