I felt very sad when I heard it closed years ago, but I can't remember the reason for it closing. I have treasured memories of speaking to Mary back in the 80's on the phone at the museum when I called the gift shop to order a few records from there. I actually spoke to her twice She answered the phone herself both times I called. The second time I called, she said "Is this Mike Slater?" She actually remembered me and my name.
