The Jim Ed Brown tribute to Jim Reeves is very interesting, and a priceless retro connection to a time when music actually was enjoyable to listen to. Most of these videos that I have watched are hosted by Bill Anderson, who by the way, never seems to age. Still sharp looking and a dialogue to match. Bill, the perfect host, could not have been a better choice for this program.

From watching so many of these 'gatherings' which of course include a live audience of current and past performers, I do seem to look at it with a bit of trepidation. I constantly find myself counting the number of artists that are no longer with us, and that is a bit of a sad commentary. On the other hand however, we have been so blessed to have lived in a time these programs showcased the best of the best, something I personally will cherish forever.

They say timing is everything in life. Well, we were here at the right time and the right place to witness once in a life time 'Great Music' at its pinnacle !!
