so with the logic you state above Bobby Allison should have been arrested and taken away in handcuffs after Cale Yarborough mouthed off to him after the 79 Daytona 500 and the fight ensued? This sport has come a long way since then but looking back allowing drivers to do stuff like that seemed to get it over and done with rather than have it carry on.
Way back when drivers and owners were allowed to hash out their differences the way RC did today and it was accepted rather than using their cars as weapons or as a way to pay back another driver for something they did not like as guys like shrub and edwards to today.
Not condoning it but it took Jimmy Spencer clocking Kurt for him to start to get his act together. And it seems all the fines, probation periods and talkings to have not sunk in with this guy. He's been around this sport long enough now better but he just does not want to seem to learn.
