Pepsico has announced that Aunt Jemima is being retired. It's been decided that Jemima, the 130 year old center piece for pancake mix and syrup, was judged to be a racial stereotype, which it is, and everything Jemima will soon be retired.

A new name and a new add campaign begin soon, Aunt Jemima will be history and that's progress.
