Re: Neighbor Problem Anticipated
I understand that professional tree cutting is expensive..we had one taken down that was $1500. That's the reason he should have called to have the town check it out. It meets the requirement for extending over the curb and if they wouldn't take it down, they might at least trim it since they have the equipment that he does not. It's been over six months since the tree trunk split. It was just ignored. I'll even give him that he might not have noticed how invasive the branches are to my driveway since his driveway is on the other side. However, he's made no attempt to even discuss it with me since I approached him.
My daughter came over this afternoon and the branches were scraping the top of her car. My other daughter said I'll be back tomorrow to cut the lower branches down..an offer he should have made or at least offer the excuse that he didn't have the tools, something.. We do have the tools. I wouldn't lend him George's power saw without his permission but I do have one of those long poles to lop off smaller branches had he asked I believe. I don't know what my daughter thinks she can use since she didn't ask what I had but she might have one of those limb loppers too.
