Sara: I sold your grandfather a setter back in the 80's. Your family came to pick the puppy up in Townville, Pa.
The sire of the dog was Sam L's Rimfire and the mother, my female Okemos Rhinestone Abby, was out of Rhinestone Cowboy and a Pleasant Valley female out of Pleasant Valley Clyde and Pleasant Valley Liz. I kept two males out of the litter and they were outstanding bird dogs. I talked Tom into judging a few trials at Black Ash in the late 80's, but we eventually lost touch, so I am not sure what became of the dog. I also know that he had a dog he really liked out of I'm Oscar. I hope this helps.
