The band of St Edward's Crown has been resized before. I'm reading up on some of that now. Previous Message
Silly me! I'd been wondering what Crown the King would use for his coronation. I was thinking that St. Edward's Crown may be too big for him and at his age it may be too cumbersome.
It never occurred to me that it could be modified like the Imperial State Crown has been modified! How embarrassing! I'm sure the Imperial State Crown will be modified too.
