That's very interesting Karen, thank you. The article mentions the King will wear the Imperial State Crown at other points of the ceremony. Maybe it will be similar to Elizabeth II's coronation, when she switched to the lighter Imperial State Crown after the coronation itself, and then wore it back to Buckingham Palace, including the balcony appearance.
The late Queen had the Imperial State Crown "flattened" to suit her taste. I wonder if the new King will have it put back, so it looks vertically longer and higher again, as it was for George VI.
I also wonder if the new King is planning on wearing the Imperial State Crown to future State Openings of Parliament,
