I rest my case...
Well, that is only slightly worse than the Norwegian media, who have usually referred to them as "Prince William and Duchess Kate"...
I have to say it really surprised me to hear he created William Prince of Wales so quickly but I am actually pleased.
Now I'm curious to see what the Press will call the Princess of Wales? I won't be surprised if they incorrectly call her Princess Catherine....oh well, that would be preferable over Kate Middleton.
That was quick! When Edward VII became King, it took almost a year before his son George (later George V) was created Prince of Wales. When George V became King, it took a month and a half before his son Edward, known within the family as David (later Edward VIII, and then the Duke of Windsor) received the title, and in Charles’s case, he had been the heir apparent for six years before he was created Prince of Wales.
