Native Spanish speakers use a much softer "T" sound when they articulate "dha" than English speakers "tah" even when you say or ask for the same syllable.

Make sure you specify the need for the firm beginning. Point out the difference in how you say the letters in the alphabet, and stress that you need the ENGLISH pronunciation.
