All it proves is that due to male line DNA testing we know that Louis XIV and his brother Philippe duke of Orleans had the same biological father. That was most likely their legal father Louis XIII but could have been a lover of the Queen as well.

Itr does however prove that Louis Philippe was his father's son and there had been some stories about the Orleans line.

Im wondering if someone from the Spanish line did also check his DNA to that of the three tested men. It could disprove claims that Queen Maria Luisa and Queen Isabel II had sons from lovers.
