Re: "The Impatient Queen" - a new biography about Letizia
Honestly, I have no idea about the meaning of the title. Impatient? Why? Surely not for seeing another not authorised bio of her in the libraries. My guess is that the adjective in the title is a kind of lure to make the book more attractive and resounding to the potential buyer.
It seems that the book has been somehow rethought and rewritten during these three last years of delay for publication. In fact an additional subtitle has been added “ What does being Queen in the XXI century means?” The answer is not only focused on Letizia, but also on the rest of modern European queens or future sovereigns. Really I have no wish to read again a general essay about these gracious ladies and their roles in a modern world. R.
What is she "impatient" about?
Agree with you about the cover.
After three years of delay, the book will appear next Feb 20th. THe author is Leonardo FAccio, an Argentinian writer and journalist (who also wrote a book about Messi!!! ).
I'm definetively not interested in the publication, but I confess I very much like the cover ! R.
