One of my favorite fiction genres to write in is "alternate history".

I have three published works which deal with these same or similar questions.

One is a short story about Princess Charlotte, and is more about how she ended up surviving with only a small look at the present day result at the end. It was published in a collection of short stories called Farhi and the Crystal Dome and Other Stories

The other two are a full length novel, Victoria II, followed by a novella sequel, The Children of Victoria II, which examine what would have happened if Prince Albert died earlier, after the birth of Princess Vicky. The full-length novel deals with Vicky's life in her late teens and the novella tells the story of her children starting in 1914. I am also planning a collection of short stories that will examine different aspects late-20th century-to-present-day effects of the events of the first two.
