Has anyone given thought to what Europe would be like if Victoria hadn't reigned in the U.K. or hadn't married Prince Albert of Coburg? Would the events of the early part of the last century have taken place? would there have been a Kaiser Willie in Germany? Would there have been a Czarina Alexandra in Russia? Would there have been an Ena to flee Madrid at the beginning of Spain's civil strife? Would there be a House of Windsor in the U.K. and the commonwealth? All this and much more due to one woman. Profound!
