For Rick Johnson, I don't recall the name, but if you are refering to the Helo that went down in the I.O., I DO remember that. As I recall, that's that one that broke in two when the crewman fell from it, busted leg. The other 4 guys went down with the craft. I was a Radioman on board at the time. I thought it was an H46, though. Hard to say, I never knew much about those things. That one was my first 'Pac. I got on board in 84 or so, if I recall. There was another Helo went down, same cruise I think, and we participated in the search. 2 more went down in the I.O. at that time in which we weren't involved, all H46's. Bad year for those dudes. Anyway, just thought I'd respond and see if we're on the same page.
