I remeber the helo crash all to well. And yes it was the White Plains. I was ont he bridge wing running the RPM board and facing towards the stern. I saw the whole thing and was in shock for quite awhile afterwards. To this day I will always remember seeing the rotor blade slice completly through the center of the helo.
