How bizzare, I just happened to google the Jouett and learned she'd been sunk, then found this website. I remember Mark Boyanton, BM3 Johnson, and I think I remember Carlos from when I was in 1st Div, Mark and I worked the Chiefs Mess while mess cranking. I actually saw the Jouett a couple years ago in the mothball fleet near San Fran. I was out sailing with some friends and recognized her. I mentioned that I had painted that ship from bow to stern, one of my buddies said "it looks like you need to do it again".
