I really hope some changes are made to the railway end soon. The costs being quoted are crazy and I understand why the club have appeared to have stalled on the development plans. I think that is fair to say. Maybe Mr Stott knows building costs will eventually fall although my builder mate says building materials rarely go down. However that stand is barely fit for purpose. It’s embarrassing to be honest. I spoke to a decent couple of Tranmere fans who commented what a terrible stand it was. With all the space behind the railway end it’s crying out to be re-developed. Can’t we re-think the plans and build a straight forward stand and then add the conferencing rooms etc at a later date ? Skip the main stand extension and linking it to the railway end. A stand housing 4500 would give us the extra capacity we need currently.
