I don’t need the validation of other posters, because this board isn’t a popularity contest. If people don’t like what I say on here then that’s unfortunate. I’m confident in my own opinions and don’t need a crowd backing them up to trust them. That was the point I was making; nothing to do with not ‘caring about other people’s opinions’. If people do express opinions then you should certainly expect others to express theirs in response and a lot of people don't seem to like that, as this entire thread has shown.
As for you saying I lack empathy and then follow it up by saying that ‘animals should have a protected right to be killed’ is absolutely hilarious. Have you thought about what you’re saying there? That animal you’ve eaten for your tea tonight, safe in the knowledge that at least you support ‘humane’ killing unlike them bloody Muslims, would rather it wasn’t brutally slaughtered for your eating pleasure in the first place.
Your attempts to take a moral high ground, as I’ve said many times, are hypocritical and suggest your issues aren’t with ‘animal cruelty’ and ‘empathy’, because if it was, you wouldn’t eat meat in the first place. If you gave the slightest shit about these animals then you’d take a stand against the meat production industry as a whole, not pick and choose what level of slaughter is an acceptable level.
It’s fairly obvious what your issue is here, as you’ve outright said it; let’s not pretend it’s anything else.
