CiCi’s Pizza at 324 North Drake Road in the City of Kalamazoo is celebrating its grand re-opening. To entice you to visit, they published a coupon for a free CiCi’s Pizza Pass punch card. This card entitles the bearer to a free adult pizza, pasta, soup, salad, and dessert buffet (a $4.99 value) every month for a year! The coupon was printed in the most recent Valassis RedPlum™ flyer dated 1/4/2009. I didn’t receive mine in the postal mail until this week on Monday, January 12. I’m guessing that is also when everyone else received theirs, because I successfully exchanged my coupon for a card the next day on Tuesday, January 13. The coupon says it is valid for only the first 100 customers. The card has a limit of 1 punch per party, per week. Not valid with any other offer. Customer pays applicable sales tax. Does not include drink.
Your card will be valid only at the North Drake Road location.
I believe Panchero's Mexican Grill was the previous occupant of this location. Before that, the entire lot I think was Empire Chinese Buffet III in a former Ponderosa Steakhouse building. The Ponderosa Steakhouse structure was razed after Empire Chinese Buffet III closed. The lot now contains a single building mini-mall with separate entrances for each of three businesses, now including Great Harvest Bread Company and Smoothie King.
As it turns out, Panchero's Mexican Grill closed shortly after they did the free burrito promotion. I guess when you can’t even get customers to come for absolutely free food with no strings attached, it’s time to go out of business. They had just celebrated their one year anniversary a month before the promotion in September 2007. For their first anniversary, Panchero's Mexican Grill sold burritos for $1 each, limit two.
I never went to Empire Chinese Buffet III. I just noticed it always looked like their lawn needed to be mowed.
If you acquire a CiCi’s Pizza free adult buffet for a year card, please let us know. If you try to redeem the coupon and they have run out, also please let us know. In either case, tell us the date of your attempt so we can try to estimate when they gave away their 100th card.
