That lantern was made by the Defiance Lantern and Stamping company. I have one just like it (maybe a bit less rusty) and it came with it's original F.O.K. & Co marked short globe. I also have one (similar model) with the Defiance logo with a plain short globe. The Farwell branded lanterns are what I believe are called "jobber" lanterns as FOK contracted out production of the lanterns they sold to the public.
