Maybe the No. 100 got it's name from the 100 hour burn time. I'm not sure what size wick mine has. Yes, my globe is clear on the bottom. It seems to give off pretty good light, but the globe has a "cheap," pinkish, unattractive look to it when lit. I was expecting a deep red, uniform throughout, color. I am really happy with it though. It will neat to use it when I take my youngest son trick or treating this year.
