O ya, I forgot to mention, play with this stuff before you use it on a lantern. In my experience it is thick and sprays funny. Shaking it did not work well. I wound up putting the spray cans in a vibratory cleaner for 10 minutes and I still wasn't super pleased with the way it sprayed.

Maybe I got some old cans that had been sitting on the shelf awhile. Maybe your luck will be better. Just try it first. I saw at least one other traffic light restorer mention the same thing.
