In the great scheme of things there are a couple things to consider....
1) If they were selling yellow lanterns for a road job to someone, did the purchaser pull out a paint chip and reject the lamps because the shade was slightly off? Probably not. That being the case, Dietz probably was equally not all that critical about dead nuts exact color from shipment to shipment. Even if they tried to be, even testing technique (substrate, thickness, viewing light color temperature) can alter the perceived color. There no doubt was some minor variation that occurred from lot to lot.
2) No matter what the color was the day it was made, even stored in a benign environment, what color would it be today?
3) Take the same lamp and look at it under different light sources and the color won't look the same.
4) Finally, to ensure there is no lost sleep over it, no one can really be sure what color they were, so if you are off a bit, who it gunna know?
I am pretty sure whatever color shade you pick was identical to Dietz incoming paint lot #347.
