I checked the lantern last night and it does have the pin that locks the burner cone on. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of lanterns with everyone. I think if you were to put a book (or cd/dvd) together of the little things to look for when dating lanterns along with pictures illustrating those things, it would sell really well.
