If you haven't already visited this link, it gives you a brief history on several of the companies here in the U.S. that manufacutured these torches for utility and highway purposes from the mid 1920's into the 1960's. Torches in reasonably good condition generally go for $20 to $40 USD on ebay although I have seen new old stock sell much higher on ebay. New 1" wicks can be purchased from the Kirkman link on this site. They make a good patio torch or conversation piece if you know a little history about them. I collect them because I am in the highway business and I like to collect historical items from my trade as a public works engineer.
