Are you close to being able to take the brace off?

The brace is finally off and I start Physical therapy tomorrow. I"m not allowed to lift with that arm yet, probably not for another month. Right now, they are going to work on range of motion, which is good. I can't raise my arm much right now.

It feels good to be free of that brace, though, YAY!!!!

Double Yay! I can't imagine it was comfortable sleeping with it on.

Sleeping still isn't comfortable. Sleeping on either side causes pain in the left shoulder and arm. Weird.

Today was great. I have better range of movement than they expected! I have physical therapy twice a week for 6 weeks at least.

I should be able to sleep on my sides pain-free in about 6 months.

That must be hard not to be able to sleep on your side for that amount of time. I can't even imagine it.

It's torture, LOL! I sleep Kind of on my side. I angle myself a bit, because I simply can't sleep on my back.

I had shoulder surgery. They had to shape and reattach my bicep, shave the scapula, and fix a torn rotator cuff. It's limited my arm mobility temporariy.

I'm doing physical therapy, but it's going to be months before I'm back to normal. They had to do so much, they're taking things slowly. They say I;m doing very well in range of movement, yay!
