With the seed what I've been doing is keeping the packages in the freezer and then I take out one whole pack and mix it with my pellets, Harrison, and bee pollen in one of those lock containers and mix it up and keep that container in the refrigerator and feed from that on a daily basis until it runs out (for one bird it lasts a whole month) and then repeat the process when it runs out. Until recently I never thought twice about it until I read something.
