My sister had carpal tunnel surgery for trigger finger problems. If I have it all (I've been typing since 1975 job-wise in one form or another) I only get shooting pain in my wrists if I turn my hands a certain way. I credit that to my high-school typing teacher. We learned to type on non-electric typewriters and she was a bear about proper wrist placement when typing. She'd walk up and down the aisles as we were typing and if you were getting sloppy she'd point it out. I can still remember her name to this day.
