Re: Map showing section D
Hi Joan - how annoying - we must have been there at the same time! I didn't have chance to check my email before going out this am so have only just got your message. I've booked some St James stuff out for Friday pm after 1.30pm - they are 352 CEM 3/5/9, 3/5/10 & 3/5/11 - I think! They didn't seem to know about a book but these 3 threaten to give details of maps for sections A B & C - needless to say my grave is in D. I think there was also a misc entry - 4 documents in all. Was getting a bit confused in the end so I'll just have to see what appears on Friday. I Looked at the microfiche for St James and the grave is definitely Section D grave 1301. The people in it are: Eliza Griffiths died 18.12.1844, Samuel Griffiths - died 9.1.1865; Anna Maria Griffiths 21.12.1866; Jessie Griffiths d 15.10.1871; Mary Griffiths (Samuel's 2nd wife and his 1st wide, Eliza's cousin), d 15.6.1911; Joanna Dunley - Eliza's mother d 6.8.1858. I have obituaries for all of them but they're very brief. Many thanks again - Jane
