Re: Map showing section D
Thankyou so much for replying. The name I am looking for is Samuel Griffiths and his family. His mother in law Joanna Dunley is also in the grave. He died on 9 Jan 1865. Funnily enough I am staying with my son until Friday in Gambier terrace - overlooking the graveyard. I found the grave of Samuel's brother-in-law yesterday - that was still in it's original position in Section 6. I very much hope to get to the Records Office this week and will ask them about the book you mention - I searched years ago through the records for stones that have been removed and found nothing - I can't find the name in Gibson's Epitaphs or on any online database. Thankyou again for the timely advice - just wish the records office opened on Bank Holidays
