A bit harsh but I agree that the King was responsible for this new arrangement although I am sure things were discussed within the family. I believe all the King wanted was for his family to live normal as possible lives. A very compact Royal House protects the crown and gives all the other family members a chance to live a normal life in freedom and to be spared media attention. But it ultimately depends on the individuals of course. Acting stupid like marrying quacks or behaving criminally will always have impact on the Royal House even if you are not part of it.

Well maybe you should ask only yourself how you feel about a man that you were previously praising and nominating for the Nobel Prize for Rape-Enablement thru Marius Hoiby - and now the same stupid old man didn't even have the common decency as head of his house to change his own "house rules" to ensure that his wife will always be "Majesty" even when he is no longer alive?

After the death of her husband Queen Sonja has lost her style of Her Majesty and is now no longer a part of the Royal House. How do Norwegians feel about this treatment of a woman who for nearly six decades has been their First Lady?
