Question: what is the origin of this "house rule" which states that a prince of the blood and son of a king will not bear the style of "HRH" or even "HH"? Something surely not in force in any other reigning European monarchy.
The argument made is that only "working royals" are styled Royal Highness. It has been assumed from his birth that Prince Sverre Magnus will persue a career outside the royal house when he has finished his studies.
But it seems now that Norway may be a bit short of "working royals"...
