Prince Daniel was born on September 15 1973. King Gustaf VI Adolf died on the same day, at around 8.30pm. I've seen two sources stating that Daniel Westling was born before that, so that he would have lived for a few hours in the reign of Gustaf VI Adolf. But Google is adamant that Daniel was born in the new reign of Carl XVI Gustaf.
