In general, I have noticed that the Greek royal family tends to be a little backward when it comes to social issues. For example, they observe traditions that no person in Greece and most Western countries does any more. And this has been detrimental for some of their members.

Adopting a child or having your own are two different things. Taking on the care for a child that had a less than ideal start in life is a beautiful thing but it is not like having your own child. I don't like it when people think adopting is a cure for childlessness. Previous Message
There is a pregnancy rumor already doing the rounds in Greece. It is also possible that the announcement of the wedding was at such short notice because the bride was visibly super uncomfortable at all the attention of the crowd when I watched the wedding today. She is generally a very private person.
There was a pregnancy announcement for Tatiana early in their marriage. I can only assume there was a miscarriage, and they could no longer get pregnant for some reason. If this was one of the reasons for the divorce, and, given the fact that this is no longer a ruling house, nor is Nikolaos the heir, it is sad that they were not progressive enough to adopt, which they could have easily done.
