That's true. Joséphine-Charlotte and Jean for instance attended Flemming and Ruth's silver wedding and their son Axel's first wedding. They also attended Flemming and Ruth's golden wedding together with two of their children and children-in-law (Guillaume and Sibilla + Margaretha and Carl Christian). The close bonds have extended to the next generation where Axel of Rosenborg and Grand Duke Henri remain good friends.
