Yes in that context it works. For the grandchildren in younger lines it would also have been a nice alternative but after that they should probably also have created something as count(ess) Bernadotte (af Wisborg) to cover all tracks basically.

It seems likely that future descendants of Prince Carl Philip’s sons will be [no title] GIVEN NAME Bernadotte while in Denmark future descendants of for example Princes Joachim and Nikolai will probably be Count/Countess GIVEN NAME de Monpezat. But what, one wonders, will happen in Norway regarding eventual descendants of Prince Sverre Magnus - there is no nobility in Norway and the sovereign cannot grant titles so his eventual descendants will probably be [no title] GIVEN NAME followed by FAMILY NAME but what family name? Glucksburg? Oldenburg? Norge?
